Vintage Ceramic Dog Shaped Decanter/bottle with Cork
This vintage ceramic decanter/bottle is in the shape of a brown sitting dog with a bandage wrapped around his lower jaw and tied on the top of his head. The knot of the tied bandage at the top is the corked top to the decanter and can be removed. The dog has a frown on his face (maybe because he has a toothache?). The red paint on the bandage may not be original and is coming off in sections (see photos). The decanter stands about 9 and a fourth inches tall and is about 3 and a half inches wide at the widest part. There is a small blue oval label on the bottom which reads "Made in Japan." Other than the paint wearing off, there are no other noticeable signs of wear; the cork is in good condition.
