    Description

    Antique/vintage brooch.  Estimated to be of Victorian era.
    Amethyst purple rhinestones prong-set in gold-wash over brass flowers.
    Measures 1 3/4" x 2 3/4".
    It appears that the modern clasp has been added some time after making of brooch, which was common.  Also, the diameter of the pin leads me to conclude that this is a much older brooch than the newer safety clasp would indicate.  It appears to be of the Victorian era.
    Excellent condition.  Lightly polished only.
