"Anni Ann", 1984, #83/500 Limited Edition porcelain collector doll
created by Joy Dolls as a reproduction of a doll by Schoenau Hoffmeister Company
The original antique doll was made by Schoenau and Hoffmeister in Germany in the early 1900s.
The marks on the back of her head indicate the company name and mold #1906-16.
This 27" tall reproduction doll has a porcelain bisque head and a jointed composition body, just like the original.
Her face is very smooth and beautifully painted.
She has wonderful brown glass paperweight eyes.
The doll is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks on the head or body.
She was never played with, was used for display only.
Her clothes are pure white in color with white lace trim and pink ribbons.
Under her dress she wears a slip, bloomers, long stockings, and shoes tied with a ribbon.
Her outfit is topped off with a matching bonnet.
The certificates from Joy Dolls are included, showing the original price of 0.
