    Description

Here is a vintage 1970's RARE Lou Brock endorsesd baseball glove for a Left Handed thrower and thus fits on the right hand. Brock was a left handed thrower, so that makes this a correct handed glove for the old-school glove collector.  Made in Japan. Model 1184 is stamped on the inside of the thumb. I don't know why, but Lou Brock never had a made in USA endorsed glove. And even the import gloves are rare to find. The glove is an adult size glove and it measures 10.5" long through the pocket.  There is a decent original Franklin patch sewn on the back.
The glove is also a red colored leather glove with white leather piping and two white stars and one blue star on the backside. Prime Steerhide, Super Scoop Pocket, Hinged Pad and Lou Brock's signature is stamped on the inside of the pinky finger. Pro Trap web, Nylon Stitched and it's called "The Backhander".
Leather is a bit stiffer than a quality glove. No owners ink on the glove. As you'll see the original silver stamping has worn off for the most part. Decent Franklin Japan patch on the backside. The exterior leather is OK but a bit still and the interior leather is smooth with no chafing. Most of the white leather piping is good but I see around 6 cracks in it.
Lou Brock of course is a Major League Hall of Famer (inducted in 1985) after a great career from 1961 - 1979 with the Chicago Cubs (1961-1964) and St. Louis Cardinals (1964-1979).  He was on 2 World Series winning St. Louis Cards teams (1964 and 1967).
I have other gloves and mitts on eBay ending now and I like to combine shipping whenever possible. If you win more than one glove you'll have to pay the grand total for shipping. But I'll refund you the difference back on the price of combined shipping. Or I'll send out an invoice if possible.
