Antique 36” North Indian Sirohi Tulwar Sword

Description

Offered is an amazing antique sword. I am told that it is
18th/
19 th century and is a North Indian Sirohi Tulwar
. Apparently quite an iconic blade.
The holes in the blade, I am told means that it was used in battle. It looks to be a couple hundred years old, but this is outside my area of expertise. What I can tell you is that it is beautifully made, with an embellished pommel. The piece measures 36” long. There is some rust as shown.
If you are a returning customer, thanks.  If you are a new client, welcome.  I run discount sales intermittently from 5%-50% for anywhere from a day to two weeks, depending on my mood and the "whether"... as in "whether" the dogs chewed up something that needs to be cleaned, repaired of replaced!  Some of my items are from local estates, some are family pieces from the attic, and some are just odd items I run across.  If you have any questions, or even have additional information about an item that I don't know, please feel free to ask or share.  I try and be as thorough as possible in my descriptions as to the condition, but sometimes I miss things.  If you want to return something, please let me know as soon as possible.  I try and be as fair as possible in my pricing and will consider reasonable offers.  However, PLEASE DO NOT OFFER ME 30% OF MY SALE PRICE AND EXPECT A POLITE RESPONSE :).
If an item is or less, I probably will not discount the price further unless you are buying several items.
If you are located in California, I may be able to reduce your shipping, but please inquire before you make an offer.  After I accept an offer, I will not be able to reduce the shipping as I take that into account in deciding on whether to accept an offer.
Please note, if I identify something as "Vintage" - that could be anywhere from 15-70 years old.  If older, I would say "antique".  If I know the age, I will tell you in the listing.  So, please don't buy something I have listed as "vintage" and then complaint that it's not antique.
