  • Condition: The only owner's ink on the glove is a faint name written on the underside of the backstrap. There are a couple of light circle indentions on the backstrap as the pictures should show. very soft and flexible leather inside and out. No real chafing on the interior leather but there are some darker areas up a bit as the pics should show. From oil or sweat. Lacing is intact and original. Stamping a little light in places. The Ted is readable the the Williams isn't. The middle of the body is also hard to make out the the head and lower torso and legs can be seen.Fieldmaster is readable below the Ted Williams stamping. Ball Hawk, Grip-tite Pocket, Wilson and Made in USA. Wilson stamped on the backstrap. Also on the back of the pinky finger but harder to read is: Streamlined Fingers and a couple of Patent Numbers. Leather piping is nice and soft. Nice shiny Wilson button on the back.

    Here is a pretty nice  vintage 1950's Wilson Ted Williams Fieldmaster Model A2396 picture pocket baseball glove for a LH thrower. Ted was a right handed thrower.  The glove is a youth size glove and it measures 11" long through the pocket. I can get my adult hand into it.
    The only owner's ink on the glove is a faint name written on the underside of the backstrap.
