    Description:
    This auction is for a 12" tall bisque porcelain Bonnie Doll by NIADA artist Ellery Thorpe, 1972 in lightly displayed condition. Ellery Thorpe worked in San Diego in the 1960s to 1970s hand crafting her dolls of bisque porcelain that she personally hand painted. She made her dolls in the likeness of real children and dressed them herself. This one is marked on her head "Bonnie".  "Bonnie" is strung fine jointed at the neck shoulders and hips with all fingers intact, she displays well standing with a doll stand or just sitting. A wonderful expression on her face she has stationary open blue glass eyes, painted black eye lashes, brush stroked eye brows and closed mouth with a dark accent line through her lips, subtle blushed cheeks. "Bonnie" is wearing a French human hair wig that is glued on a pate on her head, a few hairs out of place but still charming.  She is wearing a pink dress with lace trim that snaps down the back,white slip, pantaloons, stockings and shoes. Clothing is clean and in nice condition. I see no cracks or chips on "Bonnie".
    I have taken plenty of photos, please look at my photos to serve as part of this description. Email any questions prior to bidding, she did Not come with a doll stand. Offering to you as is condition shown with no reserve auction.  Thank you for looking in!
